Climatic chambers, air convection and muffle ovens

IBERTEST supplies a wide range of climatic chambers, air convection and muffle ovens capable of simulating any real set of temperatures, relative humidity values, corrosion types, light intensities, etc.

Climatic chambers, CCK and CCM series
High accuracy and functionality for a low cost is the philosophy underlying CCK and CCM climatic chambers series.

Their temperature range starts at -60ºC and reaches +150ºC under directly-controlled RH (relative humidity) between 15 and 98% by means of microprocessor or PC.

They include as series feature with the latest technologies in terms of programming and control -either with their built-in microprocessor or by an external PC, so as to meet the technical specifications for performing tests as per MIL, DIN, ASTM, UNE, IEC and equivalent standards.

Capacity ranges from 180 up to 12,000 litres, being CCM series chambers analogue to CCK series ones, but aimed at small volume specimens, such as electronic components and the like.

  Cyclic corrosion chambers, SSCK series
Cyclic Corrosion Tests such as the Japanese CCT have proved to deliver more useful results to most automotive manufacturers than saline mist tests, as saline mist is slower at corroding.

SSCK cyclic corrosion chamber series have been designed to perform condition changes according to the different temperature, humidity and corrosion conditions.

The choice within the temperature range (from 35ºC for saline mist tests up to 60ºC for climatic tests) and the moisture control by the capacitive method, ensure a perfect control and reliability of the test.

SSCK chambers architecture is durable and fitting to their intended use, so as to ensure an almost unlimited working life.

Humidostatic and Kesternich chambers, CH and VCK series
Kesternich corrosion tests can create a realistic replica of industrial and urban air, by adding sulphurous anhydride to the air, with or without carbide dioxide. They are very useful at predicting the effect of natural sulphurous atmospheres onto metallic parts.

Kesternich tests consist of cycles made of two successive testing phases:

1) 8 hours exposure to sulphurous anhydride (0.2 or 2 litres/gr) under 40±2ºC and 100%HR inside the testing chamber.

2) 16 hours exposure to the chamber outside room -inside it, but with the door open and both corroding effects stopped, as per DIN 50.017 and 50.018 (SFW variant).

The test is over in case any non-admissible effect can be spotted on the parts surface, or when the planned number of cycles is reached.

  Salt fog chamber, SSC series
SSC alternative corrosion chambers make possible to carry out fully automatic, combined salt fog, dry heat and humidity tests.
SSC series meet the requirements of CCT-NISSAN, FORD, VOLKSWAGEN, SEAT, RENAULT, OPEL etc, and those adopted by DIN, UNE, ASTM and ISO standards.
Testing chamber capacities range from 140 up to 2,000 litres
