Laboratory General Equipment

  

There is a number of testing devices and pieces of equipment of widespread use in civil engineering, which cannot be classed inside a specific specialty like cement, concrete, soil mechanics or asphalt industry.

Here is a short summary with some of such items or product families, which are any way included in IBERTEST standard program, as they are of interest for the mentioned branches and for Research & Development and Quality Control units.
 
 
  • Air convection ovens (with natural or forced-air convection, analogic or digital, cabinet-type, etc). Please refer to  Environmental tests

  • Thermometers: glass, dial or electronic, maximum and minimum...
  • Laboratory glassware (graduated cylinders, flasks, bottles, beakers, pycnometers, burettes, desiccators, tubes, funnels, and so on).
  • Ceramic and porcelain items for laboratory (crucibles, capsules, mortar pestles, funnels, etc).
  • Platinum items (crucibles and capsules).
  • Trays and other containers (made of zinc-coated metal sheet, stainless steel or plastic)
  • Thermostatic bathing systems.
  • Immersion thermostats.
  • Stirring drivers, magnetic, w/ or w/o heating, heating plates, sand bathes, vacuum pumps, distillation sets, water demineralising systems, etc.
  • Scoops, shovels, spatulas, prickly brushes.
  • Tools (pick axes, scoops, hammers, chisels, knifes…).
  • Chemical reagents, of analytical quality
  • Safety and work protection items (eye washers, safety glasses and helmets, gloves, etc.).
