IB32-090A001 - Le Chatelier Bath Test Set

AUTO VICAT - Automatic Vicat Consistency Tester (NEW DESIGN)

The AUTO-VICAT automatic Vicat needle is a 32 bits equipment, of the last generation which enables to perform the following tests automatically:

Initial and final setting time in cement, as per EN 196-3: 2005 and ASTM C191.
Setting times in gypsum as per EN 13.279-2.
Normal consistency as per EN 196-3: 2005 and ASTM C187.
Setting times in additives for concretes, mortars and pastes, as per EN 480-2.
Any other standard or testing procedure, by means of standard editor incorporated and easily programmable by the user himself.

IB-32001E - Blaine Manual, Air Permeability Tester

It delivers the specific surface of cement, in square centimetres per gram.

IB32-EN413 - Penetrometer (Plunger Penetration Apparatus as per EN 413-2)

Consistency measuring device aimed at fresh cement and lime used in masonry applications. The cylinder -filled with the material sample, is penetrated through the upper lid hole by the rod supporting the plunger assembly.
The plunger is released from its support, for a total falling height of 100 mm.
The cylinder is sized 70 mm in height and 80 mm diameter.

IB32-120E - Manual Air Entrainment Meter (1 litre)

Device indicating the air entrainment in fresh mortar and concrete, by means of a manometer with direct readout in percentage (0 to 50% scale).
Made of cast aluminium, and powered by a manual pump, instead of electricity. Pressure chamber and sample container are fastened to each other with a mechanical seal. The device supply also includes a built-in manometer, spherical keys (for improved safety) and quick-clamping fasteners between top and bottom.

IB32-130V01 - Fast Curing Vessels

Specially designed containers for wet storage and fast curing of cement samples, which stand on supported by a grill in the bottom.
Aimed at EN and ASTM standard tests:
EN standard series vessel is sized 470 x 470 x 230 mm and is fitted with an upper metal frame (with 60 mm diameter openings) for vertical position curing.
ASTM standard series vessel is sized 470 x 470 x 130 mm.
Both series are made of PVC and feature a capacity of 36 specimens (prismatic and cubic respectively) and a drain tap as standard equipment. As an option, they can be fitted with a bridge-type controlled thermostat which manages a stirrer drive, so as the water bath is kept at 20 ±1 ºC.

Equipment for testing the flow of hydraulic mortars and cement pastes, an amount of which is put inside a conical mould on a table which is raised and drop by means of a cam mechanism coupled to a gear reducer motor.
Once the drop-counting device reaches the number of drops as preset, the machine is stopped and the test is over.

The set consists of a Dewar reaction vessel fitted with a filling funnel, a thermometer and a stirrer drive (through the appropriate openings), enclosed in a thermally-insulated vessel, made of metal sheet, put on a wooden support. The control thermometer is digital and can be connected through an RC 232C output to a PC for data processing and plotting.
